- Some of our Audiologists are clinically vulnerable and may ask you to wear a type iiR mask and will provide one if required. We thank you for your cooperation
- We strongly recommend that you soften your ear wax with Earol spray, 2 squirts in each ear (optionally with the addition of 2 drops of glycerol), 4 times a day for at least 5 days prior to your appointment. If you want to use cotton wool to hold the oil in, first saturate the cotton wool in petroleum jelly (such as Vaseline), so the cotton wool doesn’t soak up all the Earol. Make sure you squirt the Earol over a sink until you see oil spray out in order to expel any air prior to application.

Had been using ear drops for a few days which had softened impactive wax but hearing was getting worse. Got a same day appointment to remove the wax just a few minutes from my home in Lichfield. Treatment was professionally undertaken by Beth who was very friendly and fully explained the treatment. Impact was immediate – micro suction removed a large amount of wax from both ears painlessly in just a few minutes – with full hearing restored. Would highly recommend.

Anca was absolutely right. She told me that, even after microsuction I would still have a hearing problem for 2-3 days but probably the inflammation would settle without antibiotics. She was right.
