Microsuction Ear Wax Removal (Adult)
From £34 15 minutes
- Ear Wax Removal provided by one of our expert practitioners for patients aged 18+.
- For children aged 12 – 17, please book an appointment at Microsuction Ear Wax Removal (Age 12 – 17)
- Some of our Audiologists are clinically vulnerable and may ask you to wear a type iiR mask and will provide one if required. We thank you for your cooperation
- We strongly recommend that you soften your ear wax with Earol spray, 2 squirts in each ear (optionally with the addition of 2 drops of glycerol), 4 times a day for at least 5 days prior to your appointment. If you want to use cotton wool to hold the oil in, first saturate the cotton wool in petroleum jelly (such as Vaseline), so the cotton wool doesn’t soak up all the Earol. Make sure you squirt the Earol over a sink until you see oil spray out in order to expel any air prior to application.
- Please carefully read our Terms and Conditions before booking.
IMPORTANT: Due to COVID-19 regulations, you need to complete a triage and consent form after you have booked. We cannot provide treatment without this form being completed. Please check your email, including Spam or Junk folders for your appointment confirmation email, which has a link to the form. Very pleased with the service by Stephanie. She was brilliant and professional. Though I was half an hour early she dealt with me immediately, and it only took her a few minutes to test both ears, informed me that one was clear, removed wax from one, informed me that there was a little wax on its drum, but assured me it would be cleared by continuing to apply the recommended drops of Earol.

Mary, my audiologist, explained everything really well about problems we could have with our ears. She made the experience of going through the earwax suction really easy for me and was very considerate and didn’t rush the process. Well recommended. Thank you.

My disabled mother was late for her appointment due to the specialist taxi getting the date wrong. The staff were super helpful and managed to squeeze her in later the same afternoon. They then quickly dealt with her ears, explaining the results to her.

Stephanie Knobloch –
I have used this service before and had very high expectations from my previous experience. Stephanie Kondou does not waste any time and is very quick to remove built up ear wax which was a lot in my case. Unfortunately for me there was built up of ear wax on my ear drum that was not shifting, despite Stephanie’s best attempts. I do appreciate the care that went into my treatment and the aim of not damaging my ear drum by trying again and again. However, still not being able to hear anything after the treatment left me deflated.
I was given advise to continue use Earol and wash my ear out with soapy water under the shower, which should shift the remaining wax. Unfortunately this did not work for me either, but I did remember that I had an Otex Express syringe at the back of my bathroom cabinet from an earlier unsuccessful attempt to shift ear wax myself. This allowed me to rinse out my ear with soapy water in a much more targeted manner. I am able to hear again and after all that came out as a happy customer. I would recommend and I know I will return in the future.

This was the first time I have ever had microsuction ear wax removal. Turns out my ears were 100% blocked and 70% blocked respectively.
Jason was able to extract a large amount of compacted wax from both ears and my hearing is now transformed!

I was deaf in my right ear due to a build up of wax. Even though I was late for my appointment Katherine was very accommodating and cleared my ear painlessly. So pleased I found this clinic.
