- Some of our Audiologists are clinically vulnerable and may ask you to wear a type iiR mask and will provide one if required. We thank you for your cooperation
- We strongly recommend that you soften your ear wax with Earol spray, 2 squirts in each ear (optionally with the addition of 2 drops of glycerol), 4 times a day for at least 5 days prior to your appointment. If you want to use cotton wool to hold the oil in, first saturate the cotton wool in petroleum jelly (such as Vaseline), so the cotton wool doesn’t soak up all the Earol. Make sure you squirt the Earol over a sink until you see oil spray out in order to expel any air prior to application.

I found the appointment easy to arrange online and full information was provided to enable me to agree to the consent statements. Stephanie explained what the treatment involved so that I was well prepared. The treatment itself was not uncomfortable in any way and the results were amazing with my hearing becoming much more clear following the removal of the wax. I could see the wax that had been removed and was amazed that there had been so much. Should I have problems with ear wax again I am sure not for a long time then I would have no hesitation in calling on Stephanie in Surbiton again to perform the treatment. Stephanie also gave me some advice on how to minimise the incidence of excessive ear wax in the future.
