- Some of our Audiologists are clinically vulnerable and may ask you to wear a type iiR mask and will provide one if required. We thank you for your cooperation
- We strongly recommend that you soften your ear wax with Earol spray, 2 squirts in each ear (optionally with the addition of 2 drops of glycerol), 4 times a day for at least 5 days prior to your appointment. If you want to use cotton wool to hold the oil in, first saturate the cotton wool in petroleum jelly (such as Vaseline), so the cotton wool doesn’t soak up all the Earol. Make sure you squirt the Earol over a sink until you see oil spray out in order to expel any air prior to application.

After many years of struggling with earwax I finally booked a microsuction appointment. Wow! In 25 minutes both ears were fully cleared. It took some effort, but years of build up were removed and my hearing is now crystal clear. Fantastic, would definitely recommend.

My ear had been blocked for over a week and was not clearing despite daily applications of olive oil and steam. Anca listened very attentively and explained the procedure in detail to put me at ease. My ear was unblocked within 5 minutes and I had no negative after effects at all, it just felt lovely and clear. The procedure was not at all painful, would definitely use again if needed. It is quite expensive but it works!

I had an earpiece end fitting lodged deep in one ear. It was tricky to remove but he managed it. I need to wait a week or two to see if everything is back to normal but I am very happy. My GP could not do the job and recommended ear suction or failing that a visit to A&E. If only Google would update their mapping service I would be even happier.
