- Some of our Audiologists are clinically vulnerable and may ask you to wear a type iiR mask and will provide one if required. We thank you for your cooperation
- We strongly recommend that you soften your ear wax with Earol spray, 2 squirts in each ear (optionally with the addition of 2 drops of glycerol), 4 times a day for at least 5 days prior to your appointment. If you want to use cotton wool to hold the oil in, first saturate the cotton wool in petroleum jelly (such as Vaseline), so the cotton wool doesn’t soak up all the Earol. Make sure you squirt the Earol over a sink until you see oil spray out in order to expel any air prior to application.

I have previously had numerous irrigation procedures but I found this process far more comfortable and it didn’t leave me with an ear full of water. Beth was great in keeping me informed of what she was doing and making sure I was comfortable and advised on actions I can take to limit future recurrence. And I can hear again in just 15 minutes!
