Microsuction Ear Wax Removal (Adult)
From £34 15 minutes
- Ear Wax Removal provided by one of our expert practitioners for patients aged 18+.
- For children aged 12 – 17, please book an appointment at Microsuction Ear Wax Removal (Age 12 – 17)
- Some of our Audiologists are clinically vulnerable and may ask you to wear a type iiR mask and will provide one if required. We thank you for your cooperation
- We strongly recommend that you soften your ear wax with Earol spray, 2 squirts in each ear (optionally with the addition of 2 drops of glycerol), 4 times a day for at least 5 days prior to your appointment. If you want to use cotton wool to hold the oil in, first saturate the cotton wool in petroleum jelly (such as Vaseline), so the cotton wool doesn’t soak up all the Earol. Make sure you squirt the Earol over a sink until you see oil spray out in order to expel any air prior to application.
- Please carefully read our Terms and Conditions before booking.
IMPORTANT: Due to COVID-19 regulations, you need to complete a triage and consent form after you have booked. We cannot provide treatment without this form being completed. Please check your email, including Spam or Junk folders for your appointment confirmation email, which has a link to the form. Alternatively, go to https://www.hearingfirst.co.uk/my-account/orders/, view your order and click on the link.

Faye took time to explain the procedure and answer any question that I had. Was done in no time at all.

I have had my ears treated for wax removal on many occasions over the years. I found Andrew to be very knowledgable and professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone that is a little nervous about getting their ears treated.

I had earache. A medical professional was unable to see a problem but identified I had a wax build up in the affected ear. Beth removed the wax and advised me the eardrum appeared inflamed, likely the result of a behind the ear infection. I am now in a position to seek further medical advice with confidence.

Easy to book appointment. Procedure efficiently conducted. Well worth the cost, as couldn’t have waited another month to have this done.

I had to get my ear cleaned in an emergency as I suffer from vertigo and things got bad really quickly overnight. Thankfully I was able to get an appointment within the hour and Jonathan did a great job at cleaning both of my ears and explaining how I should take care of them going forward. I started feeling better immediately and I can hear perfectly again. I didn’t even realise how dulled my hearing was because it was getting worse slowly and gradually for so long. The microsuction method they use is brilliant as well and didn’t hurt at all. Unlike with a syringe cleaning the ears are dry and perfectly clean immediately after the procedure. Jonathan himself was professional and so kind. Highly recommend!
